In 1983 Pikesville Coin & Jewelry Exchange was opened at 1350 Reisterstown rd in Pikesville, MD. In the early years our focus was mostly on buying unwanted gold and silver items from our customers. As we grew our focus expanded to specializing in Estate Gold Jewelry Items, Sterling Flatware and Hollowware, as well as coins and currency.
Over the years we have done appraisal work for numerous auction firms, government agencies (Maryland Division of Unclaimed Property and Baltimore City Police Dept) as well as attorneys and other estate liquidators.
Our Focus
Approximately 5 Years ago we decided to shift our focus away from our retail operations and concentrate more on our many antique jewelry shows and events. Pikesville Jewelry Buyers was born and we refocused our buying in our 3 main areas: Gold Jewelry, Sterling Flatware and Hollowware, and Coins.
While our main sources of buying these items has been from other dealers, shows, and various auctions, we are also available to discuss your liquidation needs and are licensed Precious Metal Dealers in the state of Maryland and have been for over 30 years (License #433-01 Marc Schauder).
